We’ve created a global map highlighting the most problematic weed species impacting crop production worldwide. This is not a map of herbicide-resistant weeds, but rather a watch-out for the weed species - resistant or not - that are causing the biggest challenges for farmers in major cropping systems. Understanding these key weeds is crucial for proactive and sustainable management. If left unchecked, some species could become even more problematic in certain regions due to their inherent biological traits.
